Headland-Buderim farewells four valued members

39&#;So sorry to see you go' read the inscription on the cards given to four of our members at a morning tea held in their honour on Tuesday 21 October. Jan and Ian Trewhella, Russell Robinson and Doug Houston are all leaving the club due to relocation, health and other reasons.

Heartfelt words from fellow members were conveyed on the cards. Ross spoke of what good members and friends they have been, and cited all that they have given to the club over many years through volunteering, committee positions and more. Not to forget their Pennants prowess.

The men received a memento and Jan a bouquet of flowers from the club. Russell was our line maker extraordinaire. And who was the special recipient of Don's donuts, all for himself? The aforementioned!

Thank you to Don, Robyn and Carolyn for your great donations of food fare, which made the event just that little bit more special.
