Graham Young and Andrew Cole win Winner Takes All

Winner Takes All – Day 2

What a fabulous day: great weather, happy players, wonderful catering and just a wonderful atmosphere all round. This helps to make a long weekend such as this one a pleasure to be involved with.

Again, Day 2 showed that the games were very close, and some were nail-biting finishes. But at the end of the day, we had a Winner, or should we say a Winning Doubles Pair.

We must congratulate Graham Young and Andrew Cole from McIlwraith for their outstanding success with 8 wins and 16 net hoops. It was a fabulous result, and they were deserving winners, taking home $1000 cash. President Noela was delighted to present the winners with their "trophy".

Again, we must thank the big team of members who set up these events and who work quietly and solidly every day to make things run smoothly. It takes great teamwork, so thanks to you all.

Make sure you keep an eye out for this event next year. It's great fun and the prize is definitely worth it.
