n Sunday 2nd May, as part of World Croquet Day, Graceville Croquet Club hosted a 'Come and Try Croquet' afternoon.
Thank you to all who came along and joined in the fun of trying something new. Over 50 people came to try their hand at croquet, and we hope that we may see some of them return to the club to give croquet a go. It is a fabulous sport for all ages.
Club members put on a magnificent afternoon tea, and Simon Hurwood (Focus Optometrists) and Nicole Johnston (Councillor for Tennyson Ward) donated the prizes for the raffle.
It really was a wonderful afternoon, and thank you to all who made it such a success.
