Gordon Giles and Richard Pickvance win Bayside Cup
The Bayside Cup at Wynnum drew 32 competitors from the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane. Gordon Giles and Richard Pickvance won an all-Wynnum final against Roy and Ann Brooks.
he Bayside Cup was held yesterday, another very successful tournament at Wynnum, with players from the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and various Brisbane clubs. There were 32 competitors, in 2 blocks of 8 pairs.
They all enjoyed our hospitality, with Aina and Wendy providing some delicious food throughout the day.
It was an exciting all-Wynnum final as Gordon Giles and Richard Pickvance played off against fellow club members Roy and Ann Brooks. At the end of a long day of play it was Gordon and Richard who won the event and lifted the trophy. We congratulate the Bayside Cup winners.
We would like to recognise and thank Michelle from Go See Touring travel agency, our sponsors for the event, who presented the trophy and awards.
