Friendship Day at Pine Rivers a great success
Members from Windsor, Eildon and Pine Rivers croquet clubs shared a fun Friendship Day at Pine Rivers, with games, a sausage sizzle and perfect weather.
oday's Friendship Day at Pine Rivers was a great success. Members from Windsor Croquet Club, Eildon Croquet Club and Pine Rivers all had a fun day.
We started the morning with morning tea, provided by Pine Rivers members. We then enjoyed a game called Pirate, under the watchful eye of Terry from Windsor, who ran a very tight ship. A great time was had by all who participated.
Lunch was a sausage sizzle cooked by Paul Roberts, who did a very good job on the barbecue. Mary was his assistant, and between the two of them no one left the lunch table hungry. We then went on to play Gateball, Croquet Golf, Ricochet and Association.
A big thank you must go out to the Pine Rivers committee for all the hard work that went into the day. I'd also like to thank Mary for all of her hard work in the kitchen. The weather was perfect.
