First-timers enjoy Come & Try at Stephens

Over the last couple of weeks, quite a few people have had their first go at croquet at Stephens. Last Sunday's Come & Try was a success.

After some guidance about 'grip', 'stance' and 'swing', they were out on the courts stalking balls, roquet-ing and running hoops.

Then came a game or two of golf croquet, where tactics came to the fore. After a break for a delicious afternoon tea, our visitors were still on the courts as the sun set.
