EKKA theme returns for Brisbane South Region Doubles

The Brisbane South Region EKKA Doubles certainly had an EKKA theme again this year on the Show Day holiday on Wednesday.

Not content with just strawberry ice-cream sundaes, this year there was a cupcake decorating competition and superb produce as prizes!

Oh, and there was a hotly contested Golf Croquet competition of 6 games: a round robin qualifier and then a playoff round robin.

There were entries from our own Stephens Croquet Club, Southport Croquet Club, Twin Rivers Community Mallet Sports Club Inc, Wynnum Croquet Club and Ipswich Croquet Club.

The prime Wagyus were Esme and Pat, who were presented with their prize by club sponsor Darren Cosgrove, Place Woolloongabba.

- Saanens: Ces & Maria - Dorpers: Jenny & Kath - Dodgems: Graham & Bruce

And the wooden spooners got a mention too.
