Eildon players shine at Darling Downs Level Play tournaments
Eildon members competed in the Darling Downs Golf Singles and Golf Doubles Level Play events across three Toowoomba clubs. The club thanks the Darling Downs hosts for a well-organised tournament.
arling Downs Golf Singles – Level Play attracted players from across southeast Queensland and even a few from across the border. Spread across three Toowoomba clubs, the event catered for all levels of players in the one tournament – fantastic Darling Downs!
With competitive blocks and an exciting final, Robert K, Jan, Maggie, Kathy and Lorraine all gave it their best and did our club proud.
The Golf Doubles – Level Play featured a strong showing from our club, with Kathy and Maggie, Catherine and Tony, Jan and Shelly, and Peter and Judy competing in Tier 2, while Robert K and Lorraine took on Tier 1.
Their teamwork and close games made for a thoroughly enjoyable day of croquet.
A massive thank you to the Darling Downs clubs for once again hosting a brilliantly organised and welcoming tournament in beautiful surrounds!
