Eildon players compete in the CAQ golf croquet eights

The CAQ GC First & Second Eights were played at Toombul over the weekend. We had six entrants - Bob Martin, Mike Mabbutt, Jenee Molyneux, Desley Bischoff and John Smith.

The Third and Fourth Eights were played at Wynnum and we had five entrants - Megan Stuart, Steve Helleur, Jill Cole, Robert Roose and Penny Verrall.

We played 7 x 1 hr games each day in a Double Round Robin.

The weather stayed mostly fine all weekend.

Casey de Vene placed 2nd in the first 8’s block and Jill was Third in her block. It was great to see that Eildon players made almost 1/3 of the field.
