Eildon players advance at GC Qld Women's Open Singles
Day one of the three-day GC Qld Women's Open Singles at Wynnum is done. Desley and Jenee are into the Championship play-off, while Jill and Lorraine head to the Plate play-off.
he three-day GC Qld Women's Open Singles got underway today at Wynnum with plenty of sunshine and loads of anticipation!
It was all hands on deck, with Eildon's Jenee, Desley, Jill and Lorraine ready to give it their best!
In two blocks of eight ranked players, our girls played superbly.
Based on today's games, Desley and Jenee have secured their spots in the Championship play-off, while Jill and Lorraine will compete in the Plate play-off.
It was fantastic to have players from NSW and Victoria join in, adding an extra level of challenge.
A huge thanks to Megan for her brilliant CAQ event organisation and to Bob for refereeing.
You can follow the games in real time on croquetscores.com.
Best wishes and play well girls!
