ur club Christmas party was held on Saturday 15 December, and a wonderful day was enjoyed by around thirty-six members and guests, including Clr Peter Cumming, our Club Patron.

The excellent lunch was organised by our fantastic providore, Aina Johns, and several helpers. Thanks to our club members who contributed a great variety of dishes, and to Aina, who ensured that it all ran smoothly.

Thanks also to our members who contributed items for the Christmas raffle and gave up their free time to sell tickets, especially Phyllis Pledger and Wendy Snowdon, who did most of the organising.

This is an important fundraiser for the club.
