ESULT: QLD Mixed Golf Croquet Doubles

In an all-Eildon final, the pairing of Megan Stuart and Wade Hart overcame clubmates Jill Cole and Bob Martin.

It was a proud achievement for our club, especially the performance of Jill, who in her first top-tier event achieved a runners-up result.

Congratulations to all the finalists, particularly Megan and Wade for their victory.

Eildon was proud to host the best players in Queensland competing in mixed pairs for the State title.

Fine weather made a mockery of the prediction of rain and showers, and players enjoyed hot but near-perfect playing conditions over the two days.

A large turnout of spectators was on hand to witness the play and cheer on the players.

Special mention must be made of all the volunteers who worked so hard to put on a fantastic weekend: the lawn keepers, the hoop setters, the provider team, the tournament manager and the referees. Their effort is appreciated by all the players.
