Eildon pair Bob and Desley win GC Mixed Doubles

The CAQ GC Mixed Doubles held at Wynnum attracted a field of 15 pairs. Three of the pairs were from Eildon - Bob and Desley, Jill and Mike, Lorraine and John - as well as Casey, who paired with Rosemary. There were some really close games and, of course, some upsets.

Congratulations to Eildon pair and State Players, Bob and Desley, who won 13 of 14 games to win the Championship with a very handy +37 net hoops. The trophy was presented to Bob and Desley by Mary, CAQ Vice President, and Brian Rubock, the Trophy donor.

Great work Bob and Desley.

Jill and Mike won 6 games, ahead of Lorraine and John and Casey and Rosemary, who won 5 games each. It is wonderful to see how many Eildon players enjoy playing in the State Championships.
