Eildon members busy with interclub day and working bees
Sixteen Eildon members travelled to Bribie Island for an interclub day of golf croquet. Back at home, working bees reorganised the clubhouse and sheds after painting.
ildon Club members have had a busy week.
On Monday, 16 members travelled up the freeway and across the rickety bridge to Bribie Island Croquet Club for an interclub day of golf croquet. The clubs have been playing friendly competitions for the Florence Trophy in Golf Croquet and Ricochet for several years. It is a great day and enjoyed by all the players, although it was very uncomfortable weather-wise.
Congratulations to Bribie on their win. We look forward to the next round of competition.
Working bees were held on Friday and Saturday to find a home for all the equipment that had been moved for the painting of the interior of the clubhouse. After much discussion, consultation and decision-making, the clubhouse and sheds are looking really organised.
Thank you to the members who gave their time and muscle power to make this happen. Now, of course, we just have to remember where we put everything!
