ale Ann Austin.

Ann joined the club in 1993 and was an enthusiastic player in four codes. She was Club AC Division 4 champion for three consecutive years from 1995–1997, and Division 3 champion for 2000–2002 and 2007–2008. She won the Bea Haines Trophy in 1997 and 2001, and the CAQ Division 4 Bronze Championship in 1997.

Ann became a life member in 2021.

Her health deteriorated in recent years, and she spent her final time at Bally Cara, Scarborough. Ann passed away in early October and has had a private funeral.

Our condolences go to all of Ann's family and friends.

The lawns have been out of action, but the committee has been busy with meetings and making plans for next year.

The mahjong players have been unaffected by the maintenance schedule.

The club has taken the opportunity to complete a spring clean and stocktake. The grounds crew have put in many days of work to prepare the facilities.
