Eildon Gala Day goes ahead after Cyclone Alfred

With the recent visit from Cyclone Alfred just days before the first Eildon Gala Day for 2025, members worked tirelessly to prepare the lawns and surrounds for the event.

Participating players from Bribie Island, Caloundra, East Brisbane, Merthyr, and Eildon clubs were keen to grab their mallets and head for the lawns for a day of croquet. Games were close, hoop running was superb as the sixteen pairs of high-low players battled to the final deciding game.

Congratulations to all players and thank you to Eildon members for stepping up so willingly when needed and helping prepare the courts for play after the cyclone.
