Eildon coaches attend 2021 CAQ Coaches Conference

The 2021 Coaches Conference was held at Windsor Club with 58 coaches and presenters across all codes in attendance.

Eildon was represented by Fran, Ros, Bob, Megan, Marilyn, Steve and Di.

Coaches received a great presentation from ACA Coaching Academy GM Greg Bury on the coaching platform and exciting new plans for the platform.

Behavioural Strategist Warren Kennaugh led a very interesting Q&A session on "Confidence Building for Success" with real-world croquet questions from the floor about performance, confidence, and getting the best from croquet players as coaches.

After a great lunch organised by Francesca De Witt from Windsor club (and an equally great afternoon tea later), the coaches moved out onto the lawns where very experienced players and coaches demonstrated various teaching tactics in all four codes.

Overall it was a great coaching day, with thanks to Lynda Davis, Greg Bury, Dick Byres and Windsor Croquet Club.
