That the MCC (Melbourne Cricket Club) actually has an offshoot croquet club?
Originally croquet was played behind the MCG in the 'ladies enclosure' (makes me wonder what mischief these dames would have gotten up to if they ran wild) in the late 1800s.
Now it is a standalone club in Hawthorne, Melbourne.
