Dick Pickvance wins Queensland Golf Croquet Bronze Medal

Queensland Golf Croquet ACA Bronze Medal

It was an amazing weekend last week, with our own club member, Dick Pickvance, starting the day running and catching everyone by surprise. By lunch time everyone was wondering what had happened. He just kept on blasting past every challenge they laid before him.

This was his reward for hard work and attention to detail. He never passes up an opportunity to practise and listens to every piece of advice from players he looks up to on court. Looks like it might be time for a little role reversal on that count!

His next big challenge will come when he travels to Tempe in NSW to compete for the Australian Gold and Silver Medals, playing against the other interstate winners of the individual State Bronze Medals.
