Dave Luxmoore wins CAQ Division 1 Medal again

Last weekend, Stephens Croquet Club hosted a major tournament for Croquet Queensland, the CAQ Division 1 Medal for Association Croquet.

It was keenly contested and most of the competitors have been selected for the 2022 Queensland Team.

The result was not known until the final round was complete.

Queensland Captain, Dave Luxmoore (Burleigh Heads Palm Beach), once again won the Medal – congratulations!

Runner-up was Kathie Grant (Southport), also a Queensland Team member. A golden outcome for the Gold Coast!

Thanks to Tournament Manager, Jacky Lynch, and the Referees, Liz Fleming, Barbara Northcott, Margaret Melville and Bruce Fleming (who made the presentations). Bruce Ford was there bright and early each day to set the hoops – a big job.

Stephens was represented by Heather Knight and Rosemary Newsham.
