Dalby Croquet Club celebrates its 85th birthday
Dalby Croquet Club marked its 85th birthday on 17 September. Fourteen players enjoyed golf and association croquet on the two courts, joined by sister clubs from Toowoomba.
ow time flies! A couple of weeks ago, on the 17th of September to be exact, the Dalby Croquet Club celebrated its 85th birthday! We think that makes the club the oldest established sporting club in Dalby (and we will stand corrected if anyone knows for sure).
Needless to say, it was a most enjoyable day, with 14 players out on the two courts playing both golf and association versions of the game.
We thought we took more pictures than we did, but I guess we all ended up enjoying the day and connecting with sister clubs in Toowoomba.
