Dalby Croquet Club boosts online presence with new Chromebook
Dalby Croquet Club has bought a new Asus Chromebook with a Croquet Queensland grant. The upgrade will help the club keep up with social media and reach more croquet enthusiasts.
s the President of the Dalby Croquet Club, I understand that not many people are aware of our presence in Dalby. When the topic of Dalby and croquet arises, we often receive puzzled responses like "Where?" However, I'm happy to say that the tide is turning.
Our club recently acquired a brand-new Asus Chromebook, a significant step forward for us. You might be curious as to why we chose a Chromebook. Well, it's because navigating a Chromebook is quite similar to using a smartphone or tablet, making it accessible to those familiar with those devices. This upgrade has allowed us to fully embrace the latest social media updates, something our previous laptops couldn't handle due to software limitations.
I'm proud to share that we were able to purchase this new laptop with the generous assistance of a grant from Croquet Queensland, an organisation we have proudly been affiliated with for many years. It's through their support that we are able to continue growing and improving our club.
Currently, you can connect with the Dalby Croquet Club through email, phone, and Facebook. But stay tuned, as we are considering expanding our presence to Instagram as well. We believe that by reaching out on various platforms, we can connect with more enthusiasts and introduce them to the joy of croquet.
