COVID update: Eildon play suspended, Peninsula Plaque postponed
Community sport remains cancelled in SE Qld for a further two weeks, so croquet at Eildon is on hold. The upcoming Peninsula Plaque has been postponed.
OVID Update
Unfortunately, I cannot offer you good news. Whilst the lockdown for SE Qld has been lifted, there are still quite a number of restrictions in place, including cancellation of any community sport for a further two weeks. Croquet is considered a community sport, so we will need to hang up our mallets until this restriction is lifted.
The only activity allowed at Eildon is the manicuring and maintenance of the lawns and continuing work installing the new shelters.
This also means that the upcoming Peninsula Plaque has been postponed.
Stay safe and hopefully we can get back to play shortly.
Kind regards
Sue Beasley, Covid Safety Officer, Eildon
