Councillor Josh Martin presents new balls to Burleigh Heads Palm Beach

Good equipment is essential to great play in croquet. On Tuesday afternoon we had a visit from Gold Coast City Councillor Josh Martin to present six sets of new balls to the club. Josh supported our club grant request of $4,800 for the new balls.

After the presentation of the balls and meeting members, Josh spent an hour learning the game with Club Secretary Chris and Life Member John. Not only did Josh enjoy himself, but to quote him: "it's rather addictive".

So, this is a BIG SHOUT OUT of thanks to Gold Coast City for providing the funding via the grant and to Councillor Josh Martin for supporting our application.
