Coolum Croquet Club venue available for hire

Our venue is available for hire – with or without croquet demonstration/lessons.

We have hosted weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, New Year's Eve parties, Xmas parties, family gatherings, Lunch on the Lawns and Corporate Days.

The facilities

We have 2 full-sized courts and a 75% court. The clubhouse has a kitchen, microwave and a fridge. We have a gas BBQ. There is undercover seating for at least 20. There are 2 toilets, including 1 disabled toilet. We have a ramp up to the clubhouse, so can cater for wheelchairs or wheelie walkers.

Getting here

The car park can hold about 30 cars, and there is also parking to the north in the new sports complex. BYO alcohol – there is no need for a liquor licence. There are bus stops on David Low Way near the RSL, about 300 m from the clubhouse, with buses heading both north and south.

Playing croquet

Children are welcome. Our experience is that anyone over the age of 10 is able to follow the rules and independently play golf croquet. It's also one of the few sports where men and women compete on a completely equal footing. We suggest that you wear comfortable clothes, flat-soled footwear and a hat. Come and enjoy a game out on the lawn. All equipment will be supplied.

Cost

$10 per adult up to 20 people, with a $200 maximum. Can be paid in cash or online. We ask that a deposit of $25 is paid beforehand to guarantee the booking.
