hat a fabulous turnout for Wynnum Croquet Club's inaugural Monday Mahjong sessions.

Twenty-one ladies and gents joined us for a fun-packed morning and afternoon learning the game of Mahjong under the tutelage of our friend Frances Gray.

Thank you all for making the day such a wonderful success, with many questions being asked, books being ordered and promises of continuing play.

Women's Handicap Singles played under cloudy skies

Cloudy skies provided the backdrop for today's Women's Handicap Singles at Wynnum Croquet Club, where eight players took to the lawns for some competitive croquet.

The players were divided into two blocks, A and B, with the winners of each block earning the right to battle it out in a playoff final to decide the overall winner.

With handicap shots helping to level the playing field, there was plenty of opportunity for some interesting contests!
