Caloundra hosts CAQ Eights Tournament

Last weekend we hosted the CAQ Eights Tournament, when 24 players competed for a trophy presented by Pam Shepherd, a long-standing, noted friend of croquet. Centenary pins and certificates were also awarded to the winners of each block.

After a very hot weekend's play, the eventual winners were:

- Block A: Casey de Vene - Block B: Jeremy Tasker - Block C: Jannene Wall - Block D: Stephen Lockhart

Thank you to Carole Atkinson and Murray Tinker from our club for running the event, and to Geraldine Trivett, CAQ Events, who also won two raffle prizes.
