Caloundra Classic opens with a Sextuple and 17 Triple Peels

The Caloundra Classic began today, with wonderful players from NZ, Tasmania, NSW, Victoria, SA and Queensland.

Wow, what a day of AC croquet! Last year we had 33 Triple Peels over the four days. Today alone we had 17 Triple Peels, plus a TPO and a Sextuple.

We challenged the players with a cash prize for the first Sextuple. We had a near miss last year, but this year club member Malcolm Fletcher achieved one in his first game to take the money. Well done, Malcolm!

If you are in the neighbourhood, call into Caloundra for the Classic Cars or the Classic Croquet at Caloundra Mallet Sports Club. Hear the revving, smell the petrol and watch the croquet.
