Busy weekend at Windsor Croquet Club

It has been a busy weekend at Windsor Croquet Club.

First up was a buck's party for James, organised by his best woman (and sister), Lucy. Guests had a most enjoyable time playing croquet followed by a barbecue. Some guests could even be future croquet players! Hope to see them back at the club soon.

Then, keeping with the theme of barbecues, Windsor Croquet Club welcomed members back for 2024 with their own barbecue. Members enjoyed steaks, sausages and salads before hitting the lawns once more. It's so good to be back in the swing of things with all things croquet. The heat and humidity was not going to beat us.

The State Squad had practice at Windsor on Sunday, which gave Greg another opportunity to admire the newly powder coated hoops.

It's all happening at Windsor.

Next weekend, 27-28 January, will see the CAQ Open Men's Singles. Feel free to come along to watch some great croquet being played. Games commence at 8:00 am.

PLEASE NOTE

As the CAQ event is next weekend, there will be NO CLUB PLAY on Saturday 27 January 2024. Instead, club play will now be held on FRIDAY 26 JANUARY 2024 at 12:00.

Gotta love CROQUET!
