Busy March for Windsor Croquet Club members

Yep. Someone did say croquet competition!

March has been a busy month for Windsor Croquet Club members. On Friday 15 March we held our first Golf Brooch for 2024. Sixteen players from Headland-Buderim, Eildon, Wynnum, Windsor, Twin Rivers, East Brisbane, Southport and Bribie Island Croquet clubs hit the lawns for a day of play. It was a great day for everyone.

Hosting a competition requires assistance from the whole club. At Windsor we are fortunate to have a band of very willing workers who get up before the crack of dawn to be at the club to ensure the lawns are ready, the paperwork is in place, the brooches have been delivered and morning teas are delicious and ready. Thank you to all our members who pitched in to make it a great day - you all know who you are.

Then on Sunday 17 March, some members attended the Graceville Golf Singles comp whilst others entered the Eildon St Patrick's Day Gala Day. Of course, green was the colour to be seen in at Eildon.

Windsor will be hosting the Golf Shield on 20 and 21 April. Check out our website for all the details: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/windsorcroquet/events/215164

Entries open 20 March 2024.

Hope to see you on the croquet lawns soon.
