Broadbeach opens the new season with visitor play and pennants ahead
Broadbeach welcomes visitors for Association Croquet and Golf Croquet, shares travel details and prepares for 2026 pennants.
Broadbeach Club began the new season with members coming together for Association Croquet on Tuesday and Saturday mornings from 8.30am. Visitors are welcome to play on either morning. Golf Croquet is played on Monday mornings from 8.30am and Wednesday afternoons from 3pm, with players usually staying on for dinner until the evening winds up between 7.30pm and 8pm.
For more information, visitors can contact Secretary Sandra Edwards on 5531 1289. The club also shared travel directions, with Transit bus 105 running to and from Broadbeach South station and SeaWorld, alighting at Armrick Ave. The nearest light rail stop is Florida Gardens, with the walk continuing down First Avenue to Old Burleigh Road, then left towards the croquet club beside the Bowls Club.
Golf Croquet players will join the Pennant Competition for 2026, with Sylvia Duffy busy gathering players to form team or teams. Broadbeach’s Association Croquet players are also likely to represent the club in Gold Coast Region competitions during the year.
