Brisbane North Region Friendship Day at McIlwraith

Everyone is invited to the Brisbane North Region Friendship Day scheduled for Wednesday 12th August at McIlwraith Croquet Club, Auchenflower.

For our newer members, Eildon is part of the CAQ Brisbane North Region. Our fellow clubs are Merthyr in New Farm, McIlwraith in Auchenflower, Pine Rivers, Toombul, Windsor and the Moreton Bay Gateball Club --- currently located at the Sandgate "Bollo".

There are 7 regions within CAQ, located across the state. Each region has its own committee, focussing on providing support to its member clubs, and to represent the interests and concerns of the region and its clubs to the CAQ management.

Our president, Jill Cole, is the BNR delegate to CAQ. She is a member of the CAQ Management Committee, which meets monthly.

Eildon has 2 delegates to BNR: Penny Verrall and Di Leahy. This committee also meets monthly.

Every year or two BNR organises a friendship day at one of the member clubs. This is a great opportunity to play some relaxed croquet and get to meet other players. All welcome.
