Breezy, enjoyable day of croquet at Wynnum

Members at Wynnum enjoyed cooler temperatures and a brisk breeze from ex-cyclone Oma. Some stalwarts stayed past 6pm for extra games, and newcomers are welcome to give croquet a try.

Breezy, enjoyable day of croquet at Wynnum

hat a very enjoyable day we had at our club yesterday. It was certainly pleasant playing with the lower temperatures and lack of humidity. The "brisk" breeze from ex-cyclone Oma made jump shots difficult, but it didn't stop members from playing their best shots.

The patio of our clubhouse is the best place to be in the afternoon with the wonderful sea breeze, so with a cuppa in hand and loads of chatter and laughter, it really finished off a wonderful day's play. Some stalwarts stayed until after 6pm to get some extra games in as well... now that's enthusiasm!

Croquet is a wonderful sport, we all love it, so why not think about coming down to our club and giving it a try? You are more than welcome.
