Bob wins Eildon Division One Golf Singles Championships

A hearty congratulations to Bob, for winning the Eildon Division One Golf Singles Championships for 2025.

The exceptional calibre of our Div One players was on display during the three-day event for the honour of Div One Singles Champion, played as the best of three untimed games.

Our merry band of spectators and club members were kept thoroughly engrossed as players showed them why we consider these players the "best of the best" at our club.

Possibly it will become part of club folklore: a long, angled jump shot from the boundary, with seemingly effortless ease, successfully scored hoop 13 to take the game, passing over an opposition ball blocking the hoop from being run, with another ball just in front of the hoop! In a turnaround, the jumper was then jumped by another player in a boundary jump by his then opponent on the 13th hoop!

Extremely well played everyone, and thank you for your participation over the three days. Check out croquetscore for full details.

The players were Casey, Bob, John, Desley and Mike.
