Bob Martin wins CAQ Men's Singles Championship

Congratulations to Eildon player Bob Martin, who won the CAQ Men's Singles Championship. Bob defeated Shane Davis and Greg Bury before defeating Gordon Giles in the final match.

Eildon's other two entrants in this event, Casey De Vene and Mike Mabbutt, played in the Plate. Casey won the Plate with Mike as runner-up. Well done to Casey and Mike.

Many thanks to all the Eildon volunteers who worked the extra two days of the event, when all games were played at Eildon after the courts at Windsor and Wynnum were unplayable. Thank you also to the volunteers from the other two clubs who made the event possible.
